Who Should Participate
This course is recommended for credit analysts and lending staff who are new to their position or those who are aspiring to become a credit analyst or lender.
This webinar will be held via Zoom. Attend virtually from the comfort of your home or office! You will receive the webinar link the day prior to the webinar. Please note: Each link is uniquely coded and may only be used by the individual registered for the course. Make your attendance count towards your continuing professional education credits! The MBA will provide a certificate of attendance that you may submit to the appropriate advisory board.
This is a core understanding course that fits nicely after Financial Accounting for Bankers. We will walk through the financial statements detailing the structure of each, as well as what to look for in the various accounts. The interaction between the various statements is detailed as are the purposes of the statements. Expectations are set on what the statements should look like for various industries. Case studies as well as exercises are used to provide a practical use of what is being taught. Basic ratio analysis and traditional cash flow is presented so that you will have a foundation for assessing credit risk.
Brad Stevens is the principal at Stevens Risk Management, LLC. Brad has been leading the credit industry as an analyst, commercial banker, senior credit officer, nationwide trainer, and consultant for over 30 years. He is a firm believer in making banking better and the training philosophy of bankers training bankers. Brad has an MBA in Finance from the University of St. Thomas and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. The MBA reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment, instructor illness, or other reasons. Participants wishing to cancel must inform the MBA in writing prior to the event. The full program fee will be charged for withdrawing after the event has taken place or a no-show.
