FSA’s Guaranteed Farm Loan Programs help family farmers and ranchers to obtain loans from USDA-approved commercial lenders at reasonable terms to buy farmland or finance agricultural production. The FSA guarantee permits lenders to make agricultural credit available to farmers who do not meet the lender's normal underwriting criteria. This workshop is geared toward new Ag Loan Officers interested in utilizing the FSA Guaranteed Loan program and experienced Ag Loan Officers that have limited experience with FSA guarantees as well as support personnel who are heavily involved in FSA Guaranteed Loan processing. Attendance at this training will meet FSA annual training requirements for PLP & CLP loan officers.
