Alissa Sandholm

Star Bank announced Alissa Sandholm has earned the prestigious Certified Financial Marketing Professional designation from the American Bankers Association (ABA). The CFMP demonstrates mastery of data and analytics, leadership, strategy, revenue generation, customer experience, brand, communications, compliance and risk management.

Tabitha Braam

Tabitha Braam joined the Profinium team as their newest Senior Relationship Banker. Tabitha comes to the bank with more than ten years of customer service with the past five years in a banking setting. 

Maci Pauling

Maci Pauling has joined the Profinium Loan Operations team as an Ag/Commercial Loan Processor. Maci has her bachelor’s degree in Finance and comes to the bank with previous relationship banking experience.

Kandee Mullenbach

Kandee Mullenbach joins the Profinium team as their newest Relationship Banker. Kandee brings several years of customer service in the insurance and healthcare industries. 


Christian Rank

Christian Rank joins the Profinium team as Relationship Banker at the Mankato location. Christian comes with several years of customer service experience within various industries, including banking.

Travis Ingebrigtson

Border Bank announced Travis Ingebrigtson has joined as Chief Financial Officer. Ingebrigtson earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in business economics, with a minor in finance from St. Cloud University and earned his Master of Finance from the University of St. Thomas. He has twenty-four years in the financial services industry, with fifteen of those years in banking.

Lucas Giambelluca

Bank of America has named Lucas Giambelluca president of Bank of America Twin Cities. As president, Giambelluca is responsible for connecting the banking and investment resources offered through the bank’s eight lines of business to people and companies across the Twin Cities. In addition to his responsibilities as president of the Twin Cities, Giambelluca is the Business Banking Market Executive for Minnesota at Bank of America. With 20 years of banking experience, he leads a team of bankers that serves companies with annual revenues of $5 million to $50 million.

Christina Cavallin

Park State Bank announced that Christina Cavallin has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as a 2022 CFO of the Year honoree. Christina is a 2020 graduate of the MBA’s Leadership Development Academy. 

Heather Plumski

Stearns Bank announced that Heather Plumski has been recognized by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal as a 2022 CFO of the Year honoree. Heather is a 2020 graduate of the MBA’s Leadership Development Academy.


Andrew Kieffer

WNB Financial is pleased to announce the promotion of Andrew Kieffer to Investment Services Manager. In his new role, Kieffer is responsible for the overall management of the Investment Services Department in the Winona, Wabasha, Altoona, and Holmen markets.
Community Bank Owatonna is pleased to announce that Gregg A. Draeger has been named to the bank’s Board of Directors. Draeger is an Owatonna native and a long-time partner with CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP (CLA). During his 37-year career with CLA, Gregg focused primarily on financial institutions, closely held businesses, and individuals.

Reliance Bank in Faribault MN is celebrating its 15th anniversary with many celebrations including winning the Faribault Area Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year award as well as a nomination for the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work for 2022. 
Reliance Bank has been involved in many community groups this past year. Staff has raised money for local charities such as Big Brothers, Big Sisters, United Way, and Toys for Tots, along with volunteering for various local charities and organizations. The bank has additionally launched a new banking initiative which can help customers with Social Security Numbers and ITINs who are just beginning to build credit or needing to repair their current credit score.
Drake Bank announced its partnership with B Generous and the launch of Donate Now, Pay Later (DNPL), a revolutionary new fintech allowing donors to make contributions to their favorite nonprofits through a Point of Donation Loan (PoDL). This proprietary philanthropic credit product allows nonprofits to receive donations immediately, while the donors pay over time with no interest, costs, or fees but receive the tax receipt immediately.

This year marks 75 years of Northeast Bank and the Rasmussen family serving the community. This longevity is a testament to Northeast Bank’s success, which is grounded in serving customers’ needs now and in the future. Blending a successful past with an always-evolving future, Northeast Bank unveiled a new look for its logo, statements, and signage throughout brand locations earlier this year. First National Bank of Waseca has rebranded and will now operate as Keen Bank. This change is to uniquely identify the organization and provide an opportunity to singularly own their name and eliminate confusion in the marketplace surrounding multiple banks named First National. The rebrand will strengthen the investment of the bank’s infrastructure, technology and people to bring customers and the market an optimal banking experience. The word Keen portrays enthusiasm, intelligence, perceptiveness and the ability to think clearly—all critical attributes for a bank and its team.
Old National Bank celebrated its first Better Together Volunteer Days on Sept. 28 and 29. The two-day event provided team members across Old National’s seven-state footprint the opportunity to volunteer together in the communities where they live and work. During the event, 1,572 ONB team members served 110 organizations by volunteering more than 5,300 hours. There were also virtual volunteer opportunities for those who could not participate in person.

 Steve Erdall

Steve Erdall sadly passed away on September 2, 2022 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease. Steve was the President/CEO of Western Bank (St. Paul) and held positions on the boards for Western Bank, Western Insurance Agency and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He was an active member of the MBA including serving as Board Chair in 2013-2014. Throughout his career at Western, Steve loved helping people accomplish their small business dreams. He was raised in Edina and was actively involved in many aspects of the Edina community. He participated in many youth programs as a child then later spent many years coaching in sports, especially baseball and hockey. Most of all, Steve loved spending time with his family whether on vacations, at the cabin, or just being together.

Dr. Donald Boyd French

Dr. Donald Boyd French died peacefully on September 3, 2022. From the age of five, he knew he wanted to be a veterinarian after hanging around the local vet in Tracy, MN. Don practiced veterinary medicine in Rochester for a short time before moving to Chatfield and launching the Chosen Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1955. Doc’s practice included both large and small animals, but he particularly loved working with horses, continuing to do so until hanging up his hat in 1996. Don was very active in his community and faithfully served as a director for the Root River and Fountain State Banks for 34 years, served on the school board, was a firearm safety instructor for 20+ years, a trap team member, and he considered the Chatfield Fish and Game Club his second home. 


Richard “Dick” Roesler

Richard “Dick” Roesler, 87, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022. He was born and raised in Pipestone. After high school he married his high school sweetheart Margaret Rae, shortly after that he started his service in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Dick started his banking career as an FDIC Bank Examiner from 1960-1967, at the First National Bank of Menasha he served as Executive Vice President from 1967-1973, he then moved to the First National Bank of Platteville and served as President from 1973 -1985. In 1985 he moved to Mora, Minnesota and finished his career at Peoples National Bank where he served as President until he retired in 1999. Dick always felt a strong need to give back to his community and served on numerous boards including as the 1996-1997 Chairman of the Minnesota Bankers Association and as former VP and Director of the Wisconsin Bankers Association.
