Job Description

This is a full-time position located in our Roseville, MN branch.  This position reports directly to the Roseville Market President/Chief Lending Officer and is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, underwriting and coordinating the closings of all types of business loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures.  Responsibilities include originating loans and managing the assigned portfolio in terms of growth, mix, margin, credit quality and fee income.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Generate commercial loans through business development efforts in addition to expanding relationships and retaining existing clients to meet growth objectives 
  • Will inherit a sizable commercial loan portfolio to manage and grow
  • Underwrite and analyze financial strength of potential and current customers
  • Maximize profitability of commercial banking relationships through loan pricing and cross-selling cash management products and services
  • Manage collection of delinquent commercial loans within assigned portfolio
  • Adhere to the Bank's loan policy while ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Active in networking and community involvement

Education & Experience

  • 5 - 10 years of commercial lending experience required, preferably in a community bank.
  • Must understand all aspects of commercial lending in a community bank environment, including credit standards, analysis, collections and compliance issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting or other appropriate degree preferred.
  • Experience in Fiserv preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

This is a full-time exempt position: $100,000 - $145,000 plus a 15% annual incentive opportunity dependent on bank and individual performance.  Benefits to include: medical, dental, vision, short-term & long-term disability, life insurance, health savings & flex savings accounts, 401(k), paid-time-off and holidays.
