Job Description
First level of support for all bank personnel (in office or remote) who require assistance with a wide variety of computer hardware and software products. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. May perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the bank. Must be self-motivated to assist the IT Director with various IT and IS responsibilities. Will support 50 plus users in a growing bank environment and requires the ability to multitask, handling multiple interruptions and changing priorities throughout the workday. This position begins with a three (3) month probationary period. Hybrid remote work eligible after probationary period and training.
Title of Supervisor: IT Director
Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to end-users via phone, email, chat, or in-person
- Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
- Set up and support mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
- Administer assigned systems including cybersecurity training
- Collaborate with the IT Director and Managed IT Group to resolve complex technical issues
- Assist with miscellaneous IT projects/efforts as needed, including Vendor Management
- Assist with Technology Committee Meetings and record meeting minutes
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
- Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products and administration
- Familiar with TCP/IP networking protocols, and VOIP phone systems
- Proficient in software and hardware troubleshooting
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Desired Experience
- 2+ years technical support experience
- Banking experience a plus
- ITI (Fiserv) Software experience a plus
Certifications (not required, but a plus)
- A+ Certification
- Network+ Certification
- Microsoft Certifications
