Two members of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office will provide information on how to recognize financial exploitation and report your concerns to adult protective services and law enforcement. They will provide information on the role of adult protection and law enforcement and provide case examples that highlight the role of financial institutions and how we can work together to protect seniors.
Susan Crumb has been a prosecutor for over 30 years and is the head of the Complex Crimes Unit of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, where a team of five attorneys specializes in the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes involving vulnerable adult victims, as well as identity theft, investment, insurance and tax fraud, and business embezzlement.
Tracy Allen has been an investigator with the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office since 2013, focusing on investigating cases involving the financial exploitation of vulnerable adults. Prior to that, she was a social worker with Hennepin County where she specialized in the investigation of maltreatment of vulnerable adults, including financial exploitation.
