Golf

Description

New course this year! The Gravel Pit is the newest golf experience in Brainerd. The golf course features 13 classically designed par-3 holes, blanketed in fescue with a feel of traditional links golf. With picturesque water features and stunning views, as you meander through the green hills and valleys, you’ll see that this is anything but a gravel pit. And with plenty of prizes, games and fun on every hole, this is the perfect afternoon for everyone from the experienced golfer to someone who has never held a club before. *Additional registration fee applies.

Golf cancellations received before Thursday, May 30, 2024 are subject to a cancellation fee of 25% of the golf tournament fee per person or you may send a substitute. All golf cancellations received on or after Thursday, May 30, 2024 will be subject to a cancellation fee of 75% of the golf registration fee or you may send a substitute. The full golf registration fee will be charged for withdrawing after the event or a no-show.  This Golf Event is a rain or shine experience.  If the golf course cancels it due to unreasonable or unsafe conditions, the MBA will still incur expenses associated with the event.  In that case, the MBA will refund the registration fee minus those direct expenses.

Monday Optional Ag Session

Description

Lynn Paulson, Senior Vice President & Director of Agribusiness Development, Bell Bank

Generally, most agricultural producers are coming off the most profitable years in more than a generation.  Is it reasonable to think it will continue or are the “good old days” in the rearview mirror?  We’ll take a quick glance back on what contributed to the prosperity and then look ahead to see the factors influencing the future outlook, including those within the producer’s control and many outside of their control.  Plus, an exploration of some of the best management practices top producers are using to mitigate these risks and how these top managers are viewing adversity as something they can take advantage of rather than being subject to.
