Enjoy an afternoon at Northland Country Club’s stunning Donald Ross-designed golf course, recognized as one of the top five in Minnesota. Our annual 18-hole scramble includes fantastic networking, prizes, contests and more, all on a wooded, gently rolling course with amazing views of Lake Superior. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome!

Limit: 108 people

This golf tournament is a rain or shine event. If the golf course cancels it due to unreasonable or unsafe conditions, the MBA will still incur expenses associated with the event. In that case, the MBA will refund the  registration fee minus those direct expenses.

Whitewater Rafting on Upper St. Louis River

Ready for some adventure? Swiftwater Adventures will be our whitewater rafting guide through a semi-wilderness area with rugged outcrops, tall pines, abundant wildlife, and challenging rapids! No special skills are required other than being physically able to paddle and no prior experience is necessary. All rafts will have professional, in-raft guides steering the rafts, as well as a safety kayaker in the group. Children eight and up are welcome with a parent or guardian. You will have an unbelievable time and will be so glad you decided to go “Swiftwater Rafting”!!

Glass Blowing

 Create your very own custom glassware in Lake Superior Art Glass's Wine Goblet Class! Experience the art of glassblowing in our full-service studio. In this beginner class, you'll work in front of a live torch while you mix, match, and combine color rods to form a wine glass stem true to you. Don't like wine? No worries! Swap it out for a Martini glass or Bubbly flute at no extra cost. Once you've finished — cool off with a complimentary glass of your favorite shade! An assortment of wines will be available after the torches have been put out. Participants will make one stem each, carefully welded to a base and top by our knowledgeable glassblowing instructors and will have the opportunity to make additional glasses for $45/each.
