Public Information Overview
The MBA is the voice for the Minnesota banking industry through our media relations program. Our staff members have well-established relationships with the Minnesota media outlets, and the MBA is often called upon to respond to banking-related topics. Our media relations work often focuses on the positive impact the banking industry has on our communities. For example, our “Teach Children to Save” campaign received a great deal of positive press coverage on a local and national level. At other times, we explain “our side” of the story to ensure that the public has a balanced perspective on issues. The Minnesota banking industry has an excellent story to tell, and the MBA helps tell that story.
We also take pride in keeping you up to date on the latest bank industry information. Through our monthly publication, MBA News and the variety of eNewsletters, we provide you with insight on information at the local, state and national levels.
