The Credit Control Supervisor will be responsible for activities related to credit risk management for Commercial, Agricultural, and Consumer Lending Activities. This position will be responsible for assisting branch staff when needed with collateral document preparation/review, monitoring loan reporting, post-closing document review, appraisal ordering and review process, and ensuring government guaranteed loans are in compliance. This position will also maintain and ensure adherence to the Collection Procedure for all loan and overdraft accounts.

Duties include but not limited to the following:

  1. Assist, train, and support Lenders on credits/loans greater than $500K that have credit issues and or are seriously delinquent, and/or go into collect, repossession, foreclosure, litigation.
  2. Manage and service loan accounts and loan relationships as assigned. This may include residential, consumer & small business loans less than $500k that have credit issues and or are seriously delinquent, and/or go into collection, repossession, foreclosure, litigation.
  3. Provide a Status Report on all bank-wide problem credits to the Chief Credit Officer & Sr. Credit Committee Workout Group as requested.
  4. The Credit Control Supervisor will also work with auditor and examiners to investigate and respond to loan review and audit findings.
  5. Review and recommend loan documentation practices and structures to ensure proper risk management.

Education & Experience

Required - High school diploma or equivalent. Etc.
Required - Continuing Education to maintain job knowledge.
Required - Minimum 10 years of banking experience.
Required - Minimum 8 years of experience in loan servicing, loan documentation or credit.
Preferred - Four year degree in business, finance or related field from an accredited College or University
Preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Suites.
