Job Description

The Personal Banker is responsible for performing intermediate duties and support related to consumer and business-related retail banking activities and financial services while maintaining adherence to all Bank policies and procedures. This individual is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all consumer and business retail banking products and services, and is required to provide leadership, training, and support to less experienced officers and staff. The Personal Banker is expected to provide technical and practical problem solving and specialized support services to bank customers and staff. The Personal Banker assists in attaining Bank and branch goals through active participation in the Retail Banking department and branch activities.

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 12 months of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Direct industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of banking experience or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of banking, bank products, cross-selling, debits and credits.
