The Financial Analyst provides financial analytical support to the Direct or Finance and plays a key role in developing and supporting the annual budget process as well as assisting in business segment reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will be able to think outside the box and look beyond the numbers to understand what drives the business.

• Assist with coordination, development and implementation of annual budget in Axiom include templates, allocations, interest rates and other drivers as needed
• Develops Axiom reports, and other analytical tools to measure, and analyze revenue and expense for the annual budget on an ongoing basis to enhance the budget process.
• Create and maintain monthly, QTD and YTD internal financial reports, to provide business insight for all business segments and markets compared to budget. Provide insightful analysis on reports each month.
• Prepare and develop monthly financial reporting packages, including dashboards, trends and other financial reports for business leaders highlighting and explaining variances to budget.
• Responsible to ensure monthly data coming into Axiom is accurate. Develop or improve data integrity process and checks and balances with Axiom Administrator.
• Maintain FTP module within Axiom, including monthly, QTD and YTD budget vs actual analysis. Provide analysis to market presidents each month on FTP results.
• Maintain actual and budget interest rate table and assumptions used in FTP analysis.

• 3 years of financial services industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferable.
• Significant budget, reporting and forecasting experience, regulatory knowledge.
• A history of providing business unit profitability analysis, and understanding the underlying drivers of the business. -The ability to present findings to a non-financial audience.
• Axiom experience a plus.
• SNL experience.
• Microsoft product knowledge: Excel, Access, Word, and Power Point.
