Job Description

First State Bank Southwest, a progressive independently owned community bank, is seeking an Agricultural Loan Officer in its Worthington, Minnesota location and Pipestone, Minnesota location.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years agricultural banking experience with strong analytical skills, sales, and people skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. This position would be responsible for an agricultural loan portfolio and assisting in commercial and consumer lending. In addition, this position would be required to promote a positive image of the bank in the community through involvement and participation in the community organizations.

Education & Experience

Education:

Experience in the agri-business industry. Two-year degree in agri-business and/or industry experience. Strong communication and business development skills. Willingness to travel as business requires.

Responsibilities:

Generate loan opportunities through business development.. Originate and underwrite loan requests. Manage and service a loan portfolio/including management of past dues. Perform annual credit reviews and customer site visits. Expand customer relationships.
