Sherburne State Bank is GROWING and so we are looking to hire an experienced Personal Banker for our Monticello location. This individual will be responsible for providing an excellent banking experience for new and existing deposit and loan customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Open and close checking, savings, money market, CD, HSA, and IRA accounts.
• Consumer Lending, including analyzing financial information, preparation of underwriting decision and origination of loans that comply with Bank policy.
• Maintain individual loan portfolio.
• Maintain strong working knowledge of consumer and business deposit and loan products and services.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer accounts and financial information.
• Performing various customer service duties such as account maintenance and assist with customers with banking needs.
• Have a thorough understanding of the various products and services the bank offers in order to effectively communicate the value to potential customers.
• Provide support to branch staff regarding customer tasks.
• Research transaction and account information in core system.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.

• Maintain a high level of professionalism while working under pressure
• Previous experience in bank lending; current NMLS # preferred
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage time
• Excellent customer service skills
• Bachelor’s Degree, Associates Degree or equivalent preferred
