Job Description

Join a great team! Maple Bank is a growing community bank in Champlin, MN. This position would work on a 40 hour per week schedule; hours are Monday through Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm.

This position includes continuing training for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Handles customer account transactions which may include verifying incoming cash, accurately dispensing cash, accepting various deposits and payments, and cashing checks.
  • Verifies account balances, provide account information to customer, and prints copies of items and/or statements from customer accounts.
  • Sell money orders.
  • Completes cash advance transactions on credit cards.
  • Answer phones and/or completes telephone transfers.
  • Responsible for incoming/outgoing wires.
  • Reconcilement.
  • Other various duties as determined by Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and carry out instructions.
  • Interpret, understand and write reports as needed.
  • Basic, accurate math skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

Preferred Experience:

  • Financial institution experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Fiserv Premier Navigator experience.
  • Marketing and/or Sales experience.

Education & Experience
Required: A high school diploma or higher level of education
  • At least two years of banking experience
  • At least two years of bank teller experience
