Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Provides the SBA Department with efficient support and administrative assistance relating to loan documentation, loan accounting and loan file maintenance in strict accordance to SBA Standard Operation Procedures, Bank Loan Policy and Bank Procedure Policy. as directed by the SBA Director

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist with coordination of loan processing and documentation for SBA loans.
  • Intake SBA loan applications and determine closing requirements.
  • Prepare SBA loan application documentation and closing statements.
  • Coordinate, monitor and motivate loan-processing activities of lenders, attorneys, title companies and other partnerships.
  • Maintains loans in process and customer reporting systems
  • Insure perfection of collateral liens.
  • Properly disburse loans in accordance with SBA Loan Authorization
  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of SBA loan files
  • Assists in preparation of SBA loan guarantee claims
  • Assist in general ledger and management reporting systems
  • Assist in maintenance SBA 1502 loan reporting system

Education & Experience

  • High school degree or GED Required
  • College degree in business related field preferred.
  • Two (2) years SBA Operations experience preferred.
  • Experience in the financial industry required.
  • Strong skill set in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with Fiserv/Navigator software preferred.
  • Experience with Laser Pro SBA module and ETRAN preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret SBA Guidelines and regulations.
