Job Description
Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll provide technical support to employees to ensure optimal use and maximum efficiency of technology resources.

Job Accountabilities

  • Identify, troubleshoot, research, support and resolve user’s technology issues.
  • Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and application software being used to provide high levels of support to employees
  • Install, configure, and upgrade software
  • Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software
  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and peripherals.
  • Write processes and procedures for the Technology Services department
  • Document internal procedures
  • Assist with onboarding of new users
  • Monitor software licensing on a regular basis to ensure compliance
  • Record and maintain hardware and software inventories, site and/or server licensing, and user access and security
  • Analyze and report on user issues and solutions to those issues
  • Provide copier and printer maintenance support
  • Research and present new technologies for the bank
Education & Experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance and prioritize work
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Associate degree in Computer Science or related field and 1-2 years’ experience in a desktop support environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
