Job Description
Job Summary
As a Loan Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll provide administrative management of a diverse loan portfolio to ensure all loan documentation is accurate and in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Job Accountabilities

  • Perform daily loan function activities including initiating preparation of loan documents, payment processing, fund new loans, prepare loan payoffs, initiate wires, etc.
  • Lead loan closings and weekly meetings for appointed lending team
  • Monitor loans for compliance with federal regulations (Consumer loan, TRID, etc.)Track policy exceptions for post-closing review and provide corrective action
  • Process and/or oversee participation in loan payments and advances
  • Order Title Commitment, O&E, and Flood Determinations
  • Process credit verification and credit bureau reports
  • Resource for internal staff, clients and outside agencies by performing a variety of customer service activities including responding to requests, researching discrepancies and resolving issues
  • Manage internal/external requests and financial transactions within the terms of the loan documentation including advances, payments, wire transfers, and payoffs
  • Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
Education & Experience
  • 2-5 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of rules, regulations, and policies relating to loan documentation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
