Job Description
This position will be located at 2355 Highway 36 West in Roseville, MN

Primary Job Purpose:
Primarily responsible for effectively acquiring, managing, developing, and growing profitable commercial account relationships involving small to medium sized businesses. Also responsible for originating, underwriting, structuring, documenting, as well as providing other financial products and services. Administers and services a portfolio of commercial accounts within compliance of the Bank's lending policies and practices. Support the Bank's strong relationship banking culture through on-going customer contact, quality customer service and superior product knowledge. Represents the Bank in the local community through active participation in community organizations and affairs.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Grow, expand, retain and manage a portfolio of the Bank's committed capital involving commercial loan borrowers.
  • Make regular business development calls to solicit new business or expand services to existing customers.
  • Accurately assesses the financial needs of commercial accounts and develops proper loan structures to meet those needs while protecting the Bank from risk of loss.
  • Performs effective financial statement analysis and credit underwriting of commercial accounts and properly assigns a risk rating. Performs routine administrative activities for accounts including file documentation and profitability.
  • Develops work-out action plans for all problem loan accounts and executes the plans.
  • Develops referral relationships within the community to proactively solicit business and conduct sales-related activities
Education & Experience
Education:
A four year degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or related field is required.

Experience:

  • At least three to five year's of commercial loan and credit underwriting experience is required.
  • Good understanding of credit documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software products, able to operate a calculator, and various office machines.
  • Strong relationship management and business development skills
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong financial statement analysis and credit underwriting skills, good understanding of the capital markets
  • Thorough understanding of bank loan and deposit products and services
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships
