Job Summary
As a Loan Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll provide quality assurance and audit functions on loan documentation to ensure they are accurate and in compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Job Accountabilities

  • Verify data held on the bank’s core system to ensure all coding and loan terms agree with the credit approval and supporting documentation
  • Review loan files in a post-close review process, verifying all documentation has been returned complete while setting exceptions for any missing or incomplete closing documentation
  • Confirm that the Adverse Action process is complete and administer the Flood process
  • Responsible for filing original notes and transfers necessary collateral to the vault
  • Manage, monitor and/or report activity related to denied/not approved loans, as assigned
  • Monitor FIDICIA related reporting, documenting the maintenance in the bank’s core systems
  • Monitor the CIP and other regulatory requirements, ensuring they are fulfilled and uploaded to the imaging system while setting exceptions for any missing documentation.
Education & Experience
  • 2 - 3 years of Commercial and Consumer loan processing and/or documentation experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and in-depth knowledge of rules, regulations, and policies relating to loan documentation
  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
