Job Description
Manages the processing and servicing of loans. Provides support to lending staff and coordinates and manages work activities in the loan operations department by providing training and work direction to department personnel in a manner that results in a well-organized department. Oversees documentation of loan files; ensures a high level of service to customers; and pro-actively ensures loan-related compliance with banking regulations.

Supervises and monitors the work performance of assigned personnel on a continual basis to ensure that established procedures and job assignments are understood and followed. Provides training for subordinates. Reviews performance of staff formally as required by bank policy and provides informal feedback to them on a continuous basis.

Assists in loan origination and underwriting process by collecting and verifying information as directed (credit bureaus, financial data, deposit verifications, loan verifications, credit references, lien searches, flood determinations, etc.).

Establishes, coordinates and manages effective and efficient loan support for accounting and documentation on all types of loans, and security interests. This will include preparation of loan documents using LaserPro for commercial, real estate mortgage, and consumer loan requests including adverse action on denied loans.

Education & Experience
Knowledge of business management and supervision generally acquired through a degree in business administration or related field; and experience of five or more years in bank loan processing or servicing department, or experience in a closely related area providing knowledge of loans and documentation required; and previous supervision of others, strongly desired.

Experience working with LaserPro software and FiServ operating system is a plus.
