Job Description
This position reports to the Market President / Chief Credit Officer for the specific CDB location and markets CDB products and services to its commercial customers and prospects. This position is also responsible for handling a mid-level commercial loan portfolio and works in conjunction with the supervisor in making credit decisions. The portfolio will consist of relationships that can be complex in nature. This position involves analyzing and reviewing credits, recommending appropriate loan structure and documents to protect against the associated risk. The employee will be in compliance with Loan Policy and all applicable banking regulations at all times. The employee is responsible for maintaining good credit quality within the portfolio and early identification of credit deterioration. The employee may or may not have individual lending authority in this position depending on previous lending experience. Successfully marketing to existing relationships and prospects while maintaining appropriate credit risk in the portfolio is another key function of this position. The employee will be expected to make a specific number of outbound marketing meetings with referral sources and prospects each month. The employee will represent CDB throughout the community in appropriate community organizations and activities.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of commercial lending experience. A combination of post-high school education and years of commercial lending experience to equal 10 years.
  • Specific work experience in credit administration and lending functions
  • Background in commercial business operations and commercial real estate
  • Experience in business development activities.
