Job Description
The position of Teller/CSR is responsible for providing superior customer service by performing intermediate to advanced level teller and customer service duties while maintaining adherence to all bank policies, procedures, internal controls and compliance. Offer professional and courteous assistance to all customers while promoting the banks products and services by referring customers to appropriate staff. The Teller/CSR assists in attaining bank and branch goals through active participation in the retail banking team and is expected to provide leadership and support to less experienced staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Process teller transactions timely and accurately. This includes, but is not limited to accepting deposits, cashing checks, processing withdrawals, accepting loan payments, savings bonds, and selling negotiable items while adhering to all bank and department policies and procedures.
  2. Responsible for balancing teller drawer daily, maintaining a balancing record within bank policy and procedures.
  3. Process daily teller proof work through the branch capture system and submit to Operations in a timely manner.
  4. Assist in the balancing of vault and coin machine daily or as needed.
  5. Assist in ATM operations including timely and accurate processing of customer deposits, machine balancing, cash supply, and any necessary maintenance.
  6. Process mail and night drop deposits in accordance with bank policy and procedure.
  7. Maintain documentation and ensure proper scanning of files, including but not limited to signature cards, closed accounts, night depository agreements and safe deposit boxes.
  8. Assist with Safe Deposit Box procedures, including customer entrance/exit, and inventory, lease and key control audits.
Education & Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Previous financial institution experience of at least one year required.
