Provide leadership and maintain the credit culture in unison with the Chief Credit Officer. Provide leadership and motivation to the loan officers. Develops and maintains knowledge of loan related regulatory and internal procedural compliance issues. Performs all job responsibilities according to compliance requirements. Work with CCO to provide leadership and motivation to the loan officers and ensure the efficient operation of the lending departments. Assist loan officers so that they successfully generate and underwrite sound and profitable loans. Provide quality, commercial, agricultural, and consumer lending services to new and existing bank customers in accordance with bank policy. Review applications and analyze credit requests. Provide counseling to customers on related loans and answer questions about loans. Identifies customer’s needs and promotes additional bank products which are suitable. Maintain and service a 30 million loan portfolio for the bank. Promote and cross-sell bank’s products and services to both new and existing customers that best meet their needs and increase overall bank business. Call on prospective customers and solicit new ones. This position would take over an existing portfolio and could develop into a Senior Level Management position.
