Job Description
Presents a positive image of Crown Bank while greeting and directing visitors and clients of the bank. Answers Crown Bank switchboard and answers questions as appropriate.

Principal Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Answers telephone, accepting and giving information. Finalizes the call, if possible.
  2. Acts as a receptionist, receiving customers and visitors and directing them to the proper person or handling the visitor personally. Maintains lobby daily ensuring drinks/dusting/etc is completed by day end.
  3. Processes “Bank by Mail” deposits daily and lock box as well as backup night drop.
  4. Receives and pays out money to internal and external customers. Uses electronic teller machine to record transactions following established policies and procedures. Balances cash/coin in cash drawer.
  5. Monitors postage and mail. Routes web e-mail messages to appropriate parties.
  6. Orders supplies for the bank, checking with Chris before order is processed.
  7. Performs personal banking duties as needed and as backup.
  8. Assists in a support capacity by coordinating and performing administrative activities, which may include correspondence preparation and administrative duties for others in the bank including assisting lenders/credit analysts with tickler follow-up, loan payment processing and various duties for the lending department.
  9. Maintenance of telephone system and other office equipment
  10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  1. Must have ABOVE AVERAGE human relations and communication skills as well as good judgment to represent the bank positively in dealing with customers and visitors.
  2. A high school diploma or equivalent.
  3. Minimum of 6 month’s receptionist experience preferred.
  4. Banking background or previous cashiering experience a plus.
