Job Description
Position Summary: Participate in weekly loan committee meetings and provide input on current loan procedures. Review assigned files for documentation and file completeness. Responsible for correcting deficiency problems on assigned loans. Collect from assigned loan customers in default.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinates and services a variety of loans including consumer, agriculture, commercial and real estate.
  2. Perform customer needs analysis for a variety of loan areas.
  3. Develop new business, underwriting, structuring and the closing of the loans.
  4. Monitor an existing commercial real estate loan portfolio to ensure proper risk ratings and early identification of potential problems.
  5. Maximize bank profitability through appropriate pricing of new loan originations, fee income, and selling of all bank products & services.
  6. Daily review, approval and disposition of overdrawn deposit accounts.
  7. Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority with the bank.
Competencies: Must have strong and effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present, sell and service bank products, ability to multi-task, organize projects and prioritize, proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Windows, DOS, Internet and pertinent software for the department.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma or GED, Associates of Arts or Science or Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum of up to 3 years' experience in banking, with experience in lending.
