The Deposit Operations Specialist position is designed to provide support to the deposit and finance operations of Lakeview Bank and for the various products and services offered to the Bank’s customers.

Responsibilities:

• Daily processing of exception items including overdrafts, non-posted items, stop payment suspects, returned deposited and returned bill payment items, and transaction adjustments/corrections.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers in a timely and accurate basis.
• Process customer and internally generated ach origination activity. Monitor and review all system generated ACH reports and process exceptions (returns, notice of change, reclamations, etc.).
• Support the Bank’s finance functions by conducting general ledger entries and reconciling internal checking accounts and general ledger accounts.
• Process accounts payable items and outstanding invoices on a timely and accurate basis.
• Process garnishments, levies, subpoenas and other related requests for customer information as per regulatory guidelines/limitations

• High school diploma with post high school education preferred.
• Three to Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advance skills in core processing solutions (ideally Jack Henry).
• Strong knowledge in bank operations, products and services.
• Detail oriented with exceptional problem solving skills.
