Ideal candidate will desire to work in a traditional community bank servicing agricultural loan portfolio. Must possess a strong working knowledge of agricultural lending, understanding financial statements, cash flows and tax returns.
Essential Functions
- Comprehends lending operations activities.
- Applies established policies and guidelines to credit applications.
- Evaluates accurately customers’ credit worthiness.
- Ensures underwriting and credit quality standards implemented & maintained.
- Assesses bank’s risks on credit products.
- Recommends and negotiates terms based on credit and financial analysis.
- Manages all aspects of the borrowers’ relationship.
- Passionate about serving customers and developing relationships.
- Understands USDA and FSA lending programs.
- Familiarity with using FINPACK software.
- Visits customer sites as necessary.
